  • Thanks, Christian. I gain a new understanding every time I listen to you.

Being level learning is a great descriptive phrase for the process we’re in. I’ve come to view the attempt to understand what the Soul is up to via the intellect as akin to using a microscope to view the Sun. You don’t get an accurate view, and you very likely will have poorer vision as a result!

    • Not a bad metaphor sir! 🙂 Meanwhile, I also think it is meaningful at the same time to mention that the “I” *can* know and understand- indeed a very full, rich, deep understanding is there!- but it is not in the thinking human intellect. The thinking human intellect is indeed like a highly specialized, near-sighted instrument.

  • Dear Christian,

you speak of seeming friction on the surface, whilst the level of love is growing and there’s a lot of guidance from the other side.

I’m in the midst of a crisis and a few things seem to be collapsing (unhealthy, dysfunctional things, btw, but it’s freaking scary to own the stuff and my own weakness) Two minutes ago, while sitting in the sun, I felt a wonderful loving, smiling, reassuring presence, like telling me: “We’ll work things out, if you just let us.” My mind jumped back to my ‘felt’ 7000 problems , and again to that presence that invites me to dwell in it and to just let go, and trust and not worry anymore.

Now my seemingly odd question: May I accept this gift? Am I supposed to?

It feels like this is a ‘too easy’ shortcut- and I’m totally aware that this is conditioned thinking- but I’d be immensely grateful for a simple “No, that’s totally fine. Accept the help!”😂

    • Isa,

As always, the choice is up to you! But: Yes, we can always surrender and accept the love and help of spirit! The way of love is easy and free. (It is often us who make up the 7,000 very important reasons that we can’t allow that peace and love to be, and to flow.)

  • Thank you so much for sharing your story. I had a near-death experience and pre-birth experience years ago with a very traumatic experience also from when I was a child. Meeting God was so wonderful, but being back on Earth also brought back all of the painful memories I had experienced, so I didn’t just go through this lasting “I suddenly have no fear of death or my own existence” afterwards. I had that, for a moment, but I’m having to work through the fear and the darkness as well. I hope you overcome the fear from what you went through and somehow manage to feel safe and loved through this whole thing ❤

    • Thank you for your message sister! Indeed, this is the place to “work through the fear and the darkness.” There is great opportunity in that. This place can feel SO vibrationally distant from Home, I feel it every day. But stay strong: Your journey here is important, and you CAN process that darkness!

      • Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I think I’m realizing that most near-death experiencers or pre-birth-experiencers (or whatever you want to call us) are going through some kind of hard time afterwards, because things are never as good here as they are there, and you constantly want to go back or be in touch with that other side and how things actually are. The funny thing is, everything you talk about is much more in tune with how I processed life and the universe when I was an atheist, so it feels like sanity to me instead of putting everything in spiritual terms. I never thought of everything in terminology before and now it feels very limiting to have to find myself in these groups where even the people there aren’t necessarily scientific, left-brained people. I had a group physicists who I hung out with who finally made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the universe and this puts me back in touch with that, so thank you. Keep being who you are. Hope you find people and community who keep you in touch with the light, if you haven’t already.

  • I was journaling today about being identified with the personality, which in my case is painfully aware of its limitations, and sees power as belonging to the subconscious and to the Higher Self. I was questioning the validity of that idea and used your prebirth memory as evidence.

When you found yourself in the depth of limitation and constraint in the womb, you didn’t call out for your Higher Self to come get you. You summoned your might, and smote the veil.

Could you clarify a bit, from your current perspective as Christian, your understanding as to where your power truly resides? I tend to be under the misconception that the smarter, Divine, (and probably more attractive) aspect of Self is at an ethereal console, or sitting in a cafe´with ethereal friends.

    Thank you!

    • Regarding: “Could you clarify a bit, from your current perspective as Christian, your understanding as to where your power truly resides?” – Which “your”? There is only one. I know this may seem contradictory while we are so deeply associated with form and veiled from consciously recalling our higher nature at the human level, but there are not two, there is only one: You. You (the big you) have fallen asleep into something you are not (the illusion, the small you) and then ask, “Where is my power? Is it with someone else?” It would be metaphorically like if you decided to put on a costume and then asked where you went. The powerful You has taken on a mantle of artificial powerlessness, and thinks itself as something small and limited- but that is actually not true. Since that very veiling is the nature of our experience here on Earth, this response may not seem useful or practical, but I feel it is, because: consciousness is always present. Your consciousness is always present. That consciousness precedes the physical and “nudges” it all the time. That consciousness is a part of the One great consciousness which is giving rise to this reality of form all the time. The power lies there; consciousness is, was, and always will be the true power. What is artificial then is the deep, deep illusion of limitation that we have taken on and- I feel this following verb is important- *associated into.* We are not actually stuck here, we are (typically) just staring at the movie content very, very hard (for instance the mind is “addicted” to focusing on thoughts all day, as an example). This is one reason why meditation is so important and powerful: we can practice letting go of staring so hard at the movie of form (all thoughts, sensory data, objects), and return towards focusing on that which always had the true power (consciousness itself, the knowing quality of mind itself, the living presence of the body itself). As we do that, we may, spontaneously, re-experientially-discover that the true power never left, and you were always the higher self the whole time. Yes the higher self is playing through a character who is apparently existing in a world of ridiculously extreme limitations (biology, discreet location, linear time, etc.), but yet, that higher self always transcended those limitations. That is true even if you don’t see it from the perspective of this human character. So the question is: Do you know who you are? If the answer is “no” (because your association with the human form-set is so deep), then there may be value in the committed investigative act of meditation. Does that help sir? If not, please hone me in!

      • Thank you, Christian!

I particularly enjoy the costume metaphor. It speaks to me. I’ll be printing this out and referring to it often.

        You’ve made my day!
